National Technical Honor Society (NTHS)
The National Technical Honor Society currently serves over 80,000 active members in 2014 and close to 500,000 since its inception in 1984. Over $200,000 in scholarships is awarded annually to its members. NTHS honors the achievements of top CTE students, provides scholarships to encourage the pursuit of higher education, and cultivates excellence in today’s highly competitive, skilled workforce. For over 30 years, NTHS has been the acknowledged leader in the recognition of outstanding student achievement in career and technical education.
The Gratiot Isabella Technical Education Center (GI-TEC) proudly inducted 71 deserving CTE students into the National Technical Honor Society. Nine returning seniors who were inducted last year also received their honor cords. In addition, the GI-TEC recognized an outstanding business who has supported Career and Technical Education (Schnepp Senior Care & Rehab Center, St. Louis). Congratulations to all of the outstanding individuals honored.
