Welding - Mt. Pleasant

Students who like to work with their hands and enjoy the challenge of working with metals should consider the welding program.  The program is designed to accommodate both male and female students.  This program provides training in the following welding processes: shielded metal arc welding, gas metal arc welding, flux cored arc welding, and gas tungsten arc welding on steel, aluminum and stainless steel.  Students will gain experience of identifying and joining a wide range of metals and will develop the special skills necessary for success in the trade.  Student success in the welding program is enhanced by good communication skills, basic math abilities, and a sound work ethic.

(Welding is held at the Mid Michigan College Mt. Pleasant Campus).
