Graphics/Printing
Students in the Printing/Graphic Communications program study the various methods of reproducing images by printing, duplicating, screen-printing, and photography. Hands-on instruction includes computer copy preparation encompassing the use of desktop publishing software, scanners and laser printers, laser film imaging, paste-up, process camera operations, stripping, plate making, bindery, and the operation of various one, two, and four color offset presses, and process color production. The class places a heavy emphasis on the offset printing process. Advanced topics include desktop publishing.
