Marketing

Students in the Marketing program apply marketing concepts in real life settings including: retail, sports, entertainment, hospitality, and tourism. Those Concepts include: product design, market research, pricing, quality service, advertising, public relations, sponsorships and promotion. Students acquire hands-on retail experience working in "The School Store" and planning special events.

(Marketing is held at the GI-TEC Mt. Pleasant Campus).

Marketing / Ice Arena Co-op

GI-TEC Marketing student, Hope Stevens, is building powerful resume skills while staying busy at both the School Store and Martin Ice Arena. Work-based learning opportunities like this connect classroom knowledge with hands-on experience — all while earning real income and real-world confidence. That’s what career readiness looks like! We’re proud to see our students applying their marketing skills, strengthening customer service, and learning what it takes to succeed in today’s workforce.
